The third and last student hike of the Hiking Club of Heraklion (Pezoporikos) for this school year was held on Saturday 18/5 with the theme "Nature as an Art of Living: I hike with my senses and experience emotions".
Students, parents, and teachers of our school participated. This time our hikers walked in the beautiful Aposelemis gorge and although the conditions were not the most ideal, due to the high temperatures, they all managed it perfectly!
Our route through the gorge was 7 kilometers. We walked the easy part and returned to the starting point by the same route, with intermediate stops for activities.
The children were left free to relax in the spring nature and then formed groups to reflect and narrate in their special way (stories, drawings, photos, etc.) the imprint of the course both at the level of emotions and sensations. Children could bring drawing and writing materials with them.
Thank you again to the Heraklion Hiking Club for the opportunity it gives us to get in touch with nature and spend quality time with our students outside of school.
