Students from our school visited the "Kaparounakis" pottery workshop in Anopolis.
The children were informed about the type of clay used, the role of the pottery art from the Minoan era in our culture, and the stages that a clay object goes through from the beginning which is an amorphous mass of clay until it is painted and ready for use.
The most interesting moment was when they sat on the wheel and made their pottery. As soon as they are dried and baked, Mr. Kaparounakis will bring them to school.
