On Friday, September 27, 2024, we celebrated the 11th Panhellenic School Sports Day 2024 at our school, which is harmonized with the European School Sports Day.
This year's slogan was "We train together. We give quality to Life".
Initially, Mr. Maniatis Periklis, the father of our school from Karrones, spoke to us about the bicycle, its benefits, and role in our lives. He brought us into contact with the electric bicycle (e-bike).
Afterward, our school was visited by the national volleyball coach of Crete and the coach of the national children's team, Mr. Nikitas Nikitakis, as well as the coach of the ΓΕΗ, teacher of Physical Education, Mr. Tamiolakis Giorgos, who spoke to us about the sport and the basic rules of volleyball. Afterward, the students of the 5th and 6th grades were divided into groups and performed playful exercises between a huge net that was set up for this purpose, from one side of the yard to the other.
However, the actions do not stop here, as in mid-October we will organize a visit to a sports venue in our city!
