Domestic violence may not be something new, but in recent years - the fact - that it is taking on large dimensions both locally and nationally has spread concern and concern, having mobilized the Police Authorities in Greece.

The Deputy Commander of the First Police Department of Heraklion and Head of the Domestic Violence Office, Police Officer B’ Ms. Angeliki Bernidaki visited us today, Wednesday, December 4.

Mrs. Bernidaki informed the children of the 5th grade of our school about the phenomenon of domestic violence, how someone can protect themselves, speak up, and what services the authorities provide. Our students participated in the presentation with pertinent questions and much interest.

We warmly thank Mrs. Bernidaki, a mother at our school.
