Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program ΚΑ122 / 2024-1-EL01-SCH-000223545 entitled “Breaking Stereotypes: Inclusive STEAM Education for a Brighter Tomorrow”, funded by the EU, five teacher educators from the 47th Primary School of Barcelona.
The training program, entitled “We Are All Special: Inclusion and Support for Students with Special Needs In and Out of the Classroom”, was organized by the Europass Teacher Academy, lasted one week and had as its central objective the improvement of inclusion in the school classroom.
During the training week, participating teachers:
- Explored practical and experiential activities aimed at preventing isolation and disruptive behaviors, enhancing positive interaction in the classroom.
- We introduced students to relaxation and movement activities, suitable for both special educational needs and the whole class.
- We developed new skills and tools to create a more inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment.
Participation in the Erasmus+ program is an important opportunity for our school to be outgoing, professional, and enrich our practices. The new knowledge and experiences acquired will be utilized in everyday school life, with the aim of further increasing inclusion, acceptance, and cooperation among all our students.
