Within the framework of the European Erasmus+ Programme ΚΑ122 / 2024-1-EL01-SCH-000223545” entitled “Breaking Stereotypes: Inclusive STEAM Education for a Brighter Tomorrow", six teachers from the 47th Primary School of Heraklion participated in an educational mobility in Funchal, Portugal, attending the training seminar "Coding and Robotics", organized by the Pedagogical Innovation Institute.

The training lasted one week and aimed to introduce teachers to two dynamic and interesting technologies - robotics/coding and mobile application development - that enhance creativity, computational thinking, and student engagement. Through practical sessions using LEGO® Spike® and MIT App Inventor, participants explored how to build robots and design mobile applications adapted for use in the classroom. Ultimately, it is intended that teachers will be able to integrate both robotics and applications into their curriculum through interactive projects and collaborative activities.
