On Thursday 23/11 we celebrated with the students of the classes where the French language is taught, World French Language Teacher's Day, playing, learning, and interacting with a topic that is current in France and beyond, the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
We participated in a pan-Hellenic game/quiz with the theme of the Olympic Games, with a teleconference at a specific time for all primary schools in Greece and a link sent by the Department of Educational Affairs of the Ministry of Education.
We all agreed that participation is what matters and not victory or first place. After all, the value of participation is one of the values of Olympism.
The children participated with energy, interest, and enthusiasm and talked with students of 5th and 6th grade from different cities in Greece.
