The 4th grade of our school presented on Wednesday, April 9, in the theater room, a performance on the theme of “The Olive Tree”. The event was held as part of the “Active Citizen” program and on the occasion of the relevant unit in the language lesson. The performance was performed with the parents of both classes in attendance.
Mantinades (Cretan poems), proverbs, poems, songs and dances, and myths about the olive tree and its golden fruit enriched the performance, which was admittedly excellent.
The event was accompanied by the exhibition of the children’s works in the Art class on the theme of the olive tree, as well as a rich buffet, offered by the parents, with dishes created based on olive oil, which were enjoyed at the end of the event by students, parents and teachers.
