The 2nd-grade students had the opportunity to visit the Heraklion Traffic Education Park in Nea Alikarnassos on Thursday, October 31.
There they participated in the program organized by the Municipality of Heraklion "I drive safely" to become familiar with the rules of the Road Traffic Code and road signs, to ride a bike correctly with the required equipment, to use self-protection measures in vehicles, but also to be entertained with interactive games related to road safety and traffic rules, such as drunkenness simulation glasses and vehicle rollover and collision simulators.
The children enjoyed the whole process and returned with richer knowledge and experiences.
