In our school, we like reading. We read everything. Stories with humor, stories that make you cry, love stories, adventures...

But in April, when the book celebrates, we always do something special. We put a little more sparkle and magic in our daily readings. We organized various activities: games, presentations, creative activities...

This time:

• We became illustrators and drew the "different covers". We read the title, without looking at the picture, or the back cover, divided into groups, and started. We liked the result. In the end, we exhibited our works in the courtyard for all to admire.
• We rummaged through our favorite books, which we had brought because of the holiday, we found funny, kind, strange words,... and we wrote short stories that we read to the others.
• "What can I do with a book?" Meletis formulated the question and immediately the children, guided by their imaginations, made small books. "I can travel with a book", "I can put it as a pillow", "I can train my arms by lifting it", I can...". Dozens of ideas were written and drawn.
• Finally, as in all celebrations, we played with the book. Meletis had prepared many fun games for the children. We played cover memory games, and picture puzzles, and matched titles to covers and pictures to text. We had a lot of fun!!!
• Meletis watched the actions with his big eyes full of joy and pride for these wonderful creatures who love the book and are always willing to "travel" with him.
